The Japanese Emperor families’ residence in the former Edo castle area is a beautiful place to walk around in. It is a huge place which is 115 hectares and you can go into all the different gardens.
The Palace grounds closes at 5pm, so you should go to early there to look around the inside.
It’s nice to see the historical places inside including Edo castle that was constructed in 1457.
The Imperial Palace is surrounded by moats and many kinds of fishes and birds live there.
Around the perimeter of the palace is popular for runners and for taking walks as well because it is very beautiful especially during the cherry blossom season in spring and leaves color changing season in fall.
The place is very easy to access that is only a few minutes walk from Tokyo station or other many stations.
Not only the imperial palace, but the area also has a lot of shopping spots and restaurants.
I am sure you can enjoy there ～
