Probably many countries have cup noodles with a few to several flavors.

But Japan is different. There are 25 flavors.

Here are the top 5 cup noodles in Japan.

 

5. Singapore Style Laksa

This is Singapore Style Laksa soup noodle. It is the Southeast Asian taste with seafood, chicken, chicken stock, and coconut milk. It is very flavorful.

 

4. Cheese Curry

This is Japanese curry soup with cheese. Japanese curry is different from Indian and Thai as it has less spice making it much milder than the others. Almost all Japanese love curry, and so, this is always a popular one.

3. Seafood

Seafood and pork stock base soup noodle. This is also always one of the top in sales of the cup noodles. Very light taste but still the soup is delicious seafood stock.

This is exactly like the Tom yum soup you’d order in a restaurant. Spicy and sweet base soup with seafood flavor.

1. Chilli Tomato

This is my personal favorite. It is not very spicy and tastes kinda similar to minestrone soup.

Cup noodles are everywhere in Japan so next time you come across some give them a try. Very cheap so worth a try even if you find that it’s not your style.
